CLASSES
Class I. Focus on Color
A close-up of a camellia in one of the colors listed below in the sub-classes.
A: Red B: White C: Pink D: Bicolor
Maximum of 8 entries in each sub-class
Class II. Elegant Beauties
A close-up color photograph of more than one camellia. Camellias do not need to be from the same plant.
Maximum of 12 entries
PHOTOGRAPHY DIVISION RULES
-Please read the General Rules
-Classes are open to all amateur photographers. Photographs must be the work of the exhibitor.
-Advance registration is required. Entry forms may not be postmarked before
October 1, 2007 or later than December 15, 2007. Forms are to be mailed:

-filled out online on the ACS website:

Entries will be accepted in the order they are postmarked or e-mail dated.
-Each exhibitor is limited to one entry per class or sub-class.
-Photographs must be the work of the exhibitor except for matting and printing.
-Any manipulation, either in the darkroom or by computer, is allowed and must be the work of the exhibitor. This includes cropping of the image, enhancement for color or clarity, removal of a part of the image, combining images, or distorting the original subject.
-All entries must have a matte finish.
-Exhibitors must dry-mount their photographs on 11 x 14 black Letromax mat board.
-The size of the photograph is the choice of the exhibitor.
-The committee will provide the means for hanging the exhibit.
-Each exhibit will be judged solely on its artistic merit.
-Photographs must be delivered to Mrs. Alexander Roe, or mailed to her at the above address by January 15, 2008.
-Each entry must have a 4 X 6 card attached to the reverse side of the photograph with the exhibitor’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and the botanical and common names of the subject and the variety or species if known. Also indicate which is the top of the photo.
-From this information Longwood will fill out the entry cards.
-Exhibits must be removed between 4-5pm on Sunday, February 24,2008. If you wish to have your photograph returned to you include a self addressed, stamped mailing envelope. Bubble wrap mailing envelopes are suggested. No boxes or crates.
